At Blazingboost, if you have 100€ worth of website credit points (Blazing Points), you can use all of them to get a free service. If you also want to use a discount code, the two systems may limit each other, but nothing actually stops you from using website credit to get something completely for free.

At Overgear, this is impossible, and you do not have to take our word for it, because it is written down in their own bonus policy. Their OG Coins can only ever pay for a portion of an order. In their words, the share of a purchase you can cover with OG Coins "ranges from 15% (fifteen percent) to 50% (fifty percent), depending on the Buyer's Rank". So even at the top rank, at least half of every order has to be paid in real money, no matter how many coins you have saved up.

There are two more things in that policy worth knowing before you start collecting them. Overgear’s OG Coins expire after 180 days if you do not spend them, and they cannot be used on anything that is already discounted or on sale unless Overgear specifically allows it, so a coin balance and a promotion generally cannot be combined.

Credit where it is due, Overgear does not hide any of this information. It is all freely available, and we would rather you read it directly from them than take us at our word, then choose whose approach you prefer.

All ETAs are, as the word says, an estimate. Naturally, you might ask: how are they calculated? What influences them? ETAs work pretty similarly across most boosting platforms, so this general overview should serve you pretty well regardless of where you choose to get your boosts from:

One thing to pay attention to is those “5-10 min” starting times, especially late at night. Usually, the later at night it is, the lower supply of active boosters and players there’ll be to play with, so naturally, services might take a bit more time to get started. Having a blanket 5-10min start time across all hours of the day, regardless of what extra options you pick, is a big red flag.

There is a second thing to watch for on any marketplace, which is the difference between an estimate and a testimonial. A quote from a happy customer saying their order finished in an hour might sound good, but is anecdotal, and doesn't automatically mean the same might happen to your order.

This matters far more in some games than others. Destiny 2 is the obvious one, where cheating is genuinely widespread and a boost completed with a cheat is a boost that can cost you the account. As for how you can find out for sure, there are a couple of ways:

Third-party review sites are a good way to determine the overall quality of service and whether there’s anything very obviously fishy going on, but ETAs and Prices are the real tell. If something requires ~1 hour to be completed by a team of 4 players, has a start time of 5 minutes and costs 10$, you know something weird is going on.

If something requires 1 hour to be completed by 4 players, and it says that it will start in 5 minutes, and the price is 10 bucks, you know something is fishy.

Marketplaces are a special case that have a special question you should ask yourself: when the person completing your order is a seller on a platform and not a staff member working at a real company, who’s checking to make sure it gets done right?

Overgear do state their providers are ID verified and hand-picked, which is a much better answer than most sites offer. Still, it is a lot better to double check any FAQs or support pages they may, or even talk to their customer support a bit just to make sure.

In any game, some products carry way more risks than others. Naturally, the more rare or expensive the thing you want is, the bigger the chance that the game’s own moderation team will be keeping a close eye on it.

The typical example from our flagship game, World of Warcraft, is Gladiator. High-end PvP on a shared account is one of the most dangerous things you can do, be it in WoW or any other game, and whoever is offering you a service for it should tell you the risks directly, up front.

More than just that, the real thing to look out for is false promises that any boost could ever be 100% safe. That is a flat out lie. There are things that are near-100% safe, like leveling, quest or achievement completions or other activities that game moderators are pretty much never going to check for signs of boosting, but as soon as you step into any kind of end-game content that involves doing popular activities, you are always inviting some level of risk. If there’s no information about ban risks at all, that in itself is a big, big warning.

Case in point: Overgear’s Gladiator page advertises what they call a “Zero-Ban Protocol”. Manual boosting only, smart VPN routes, no bots or cheats. Those are all sensible practices and we do every one of them ourselves. But read the name of it again: “zero ban protocol”, not “high safety”, not “low ban rate”, not “as safe as can be”, but “zero”.

Nobody can guarantee that. Not Overgear, not us, not anybody who has ever taken money for a boost. Blizzard decides who gets actioned, on their own timetable, by their own criteria, and they don’t care what a boosting company might promise to their customers: if you get caught boosting in Glad or the top-end of PvE, it is bad news. The best we or any other boosting company can do is lower the risks as much as possible, but even that is not a guaranteed 0% chance of getting banned. Anyone promising you a zero ban outcome is promising you something that they cannot control.

For all ‘high risk’ services, we always warn you about how dangerous they are at every step of the way. Whether it is at the service page, or by talking to our 24/7 Customer Support team, the first thing you see when you bring up a Gladiator boost is warnings about how risky it can be to buy such a service.

This is not the case on Overgear. We genuinely do not know how it is possible for them to claim that a Gladiator boost is doable without any sort of ban risk, even with a VPN. This is a straight-up lie, every season there are people that get banned specifically for Gladiator boosts, especially those done through account sharing. The only way possible to get boosted up to Gladiator while minimizing risk is either through:

- Selfplay
- Parsec

What’s more, the risk is so great that you can only get it if you haven’t previously bought a piloted boost in the same season. Gladiator boosting is one of our flagship services, and we are nothing short of obsessed in making sure to do it the right way. On the other hand, Overgear talks about ‘zero ban protocols’ for expensive services where getting banned can cost you both a lot of money, and an account you’ve been playing for years.

To each their own, but we have to say that we disagree with this kind of approach to such an iconic service with such significant risks.

It's a similar deal there too. Gold selling has been around since the early days of vanilla, it is as much a part of the game as clearing dungeons and doing quests. We’ve been offering WoW Gold on and off for years, depending on the current risk vs reward ratio of buying and selling gold.

Although not as risky as Gladiator boosts, buying and selling Gold is definitely one of the more dangerous things you can do in WoW. There have even been periods where we’ve completely stopped offering any kind of gold selling services because Blizzard was banning players left and right, both sellers and buyers, and the risk to our customers became too great for us to keep offering it. We currently do offer WoW Gold Boosts, but always make sure to keep you informed of the risks involved, and take other precautions, like bundling them with Raid clears, Mythic+ runs or other services to “mask” the trade, so to speak.

Overgear aren’t nearly so cautious and will happily sell you all the gold you want without one word of warning. Again, this is their choice to make, but you should keep an eye out when you think about buying gold, and stay aware of the risks involved whether you purchase it from them, us, or anyone else.

We publish ban risk updates as a standing feature, so you can see which products are risky right now instead of finding out afterwards. We run a Parsec remote option with a free connection test, so that this kind of service can be bought without ever handing over a password. And when a product carries more risk than usual, we say so on the page, because it's your account and you're the one who carries the loss. Manual boosting, no cheats and sensible routing do lower your risk, and Overgear are right to do all three. They don't take it to zero, and no protocol with a brand name attached to it changes that. It is always better to say the bad parts directly rather than to hide them. Saying the truth up front tells you a great deal about how a company will treat you the day something goes wrong.

Overgear run their own loyalty programme with ranks, where your cashback rate climbs from 1% up to 5% as you spend more, which is a perfectly reasonable system of its own. The difference is what you get at the end of it. Theirs pays you a percentage back in coins that can only cover part of a future order. Ours hands you actual products and discounts as you pass milestones every season.

Most of the time, yes. Both we and Overgear operate as a centralized service that employs freelance boosters and matches them up with customers, so our model is more or less the same.

With more than 36,000 Trustpilot reviews behind them, a very large number of orders have clearly gone through just fine, and they state that their providers are ID-verified and selected rather than simply signed up. We can’t confirm with 100% certainty if this is the case, though you can always ask their customer support for more information on this topic.
