The Terrace of Endless Spring is the final raid of Tier 14 in Mists of Pandaria Classic, and it’s one of the most memorable. Four bosses in a straight line, ending with the terrifying Sha of Fear.

In this Terrace of Endless Spring guide, you’ll find everything you need: the raid location and entrance, a quick overview of the layout, strategies for each boss, loot and Sha-Touched weapon drops, achievements in WoW MoP Terrace of Endless Spring Classic.

Raid Overview

The WoW Terrace of Endless Spring raid launched September 4, 2025 in MoP Classic Phase 1. It acts as the third and final raid of Tier 14, following Mogu’shan Vaults and Heart of Fear.

  • Bosses: 4 encounters
  • Sizes: 10-player & 25-player
  • Difficulties: Normal and Heroic

Terrace of Endless Spring bosses include:

  • Protectors of the Endless
  • Tsulong
  • Lei Shi
  • Sha of Fear

Terrace of Endless Spring Location & Entrance

The Terrace of Endless Spring is found in the Veiled Stair, a small mountain pass that connects the Jade Forest, Kun-Lai Summit, Valley of the Four Winds, and Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

  • Zone: The Veiled Stair
  • Coordinates: 48.4, 61.4
  • Nearest flight path: Tavern in the Mists (/way 56, 75)
  • Raid portal: Gate of the Endless Spring, on the cliffs above the tavern

How to Get There

  1. Fly to the Tavern in the Mists in the Veiled Stair.
  2. Head west and go up the cliff path.
  3. The raid portal is at the Gate of the Endless Spring, next to the summoning stone.

Alliance players can fly from the Shrine of Seven Stars, while Horde can fly from the Shrine of Two Moons in the Vale. Both hubs are just a short trip away.

Terrace of Endless Spring Layout

Compared to other raids of the era, Terrace is compact. The entire raid takes place on a single open-air map above the Veiled Stair.

  • First arena: The Protectors of the Endless fight here, and Tsulong spawns in the same spot afterward.
  • Second platform: Lei Shi appears once corrupted minions are cleared.
  • Final arena: The Sha of Fear awaits, pulling players into the Dread Expanse realm for the last showdown.

Start at the gate, defeat bosses in order, and push through until you’ve cleansed the terrace.

Terrace of Endless Spring Boss Strategies (Detailed)

1. Protectors of the Endless

This is a council fight against Protector Kaolan, Elder Regail, and Elder Asani. All three are active at the start. When one dies, the other two heal back to full and gain new, stronger abilities. That means the fight gets harder as it goes on.

Kaolan is the biggest danger late in the fight. He puts Touch of Sha on random players (a DoT that lasts until he dies). He also drops Defiled Ground void zones under tanks, and if he’s left for last, he gains Expel Corruption, which spawns large shadow pools that can wipe the raid if you stand in them.

Regail casts Lightning Bolt at his tank and Lightning Prison, which traps players and damages anyone nearby. Later, he uses Lightning Storm, covering the ground in shockwaves.

Asani throws Water Bolts at random players and spawns Cleansing Waters globes that heal bosses if not destroyed. In Phase 2, he summons Corrupted Waters, which buff bosses’ attack and cast speed until killed.

Heroic Mode: Shadow adds called Minions of Fear spawn from the far side of the platform. If they reach the bosses, they buff them with stacking damage. Killing an add gives nearby players Corrupted Essence, a damage buff. Stack management is critical, too many stacks cause a raid-wide explosion.

Strategy:

  • For an easier kill, go Kaolan - Regail - Asani. This avoids Expel Corruption at the end.
  • If you want Elite loot (+7 ilvl), kill Kaolan last, but this makes the fight harder.
  • Tanks should keep Kaolan moving to avoid filling the room with void zones.
  • Assign interrupters for Regail and Asani’s casts.
  • Dispel Lightning Prison quickly to save stunned players.
  • On Heroic, DPS must rotate Corrupted Essence stacks carefully, with strong DPS carrying the most while avoiding hitting 10.

2. Tsulong

Tsulong is one of the most unique bosses in MoP. He has two alternating phases: Night (burn the boss) and Day (heal the boss). You either kill him during Night or heal him to full in the Day to win.

Night Phase (Damage Phase):

  • Dread Shadows puts a stacking debuff on everyone that increases Shadow damage taken. The only way to clear it is to walk through a Sunbeam.
  • Shadow Breath is a massive frontal cone on the tank. It doubles Shadow damage taken, so tanks must swap at 3-4 stacks.
  • Nightmares places big purple circles under random players. Standing inside causes heavy damage and a fear effect. Move out quickly.
  • On Heroic, Dark of Night adds spawn and float toward Sunbeams to extinguish them. If they succeed, the raid can’t clear debuffs and quickly wipes.

Day Phase (Healing Phase):

  • The boss becomes friendly, and your raid must heal him while killing adds.
  • Embodied Terror: large add that DoTs a random player and Tsulong. When killed, it splits into Fright Spawns, which use Fright (AoE damage + fear). Interrupt them fast.
  • Unstable Sha: small adds that slowly walk to Tsulong. If they reach him, they explode for huge raid damage. Kill them quickly.
  • Sun Breath: Tsulong’s own attack. Anyone standing in front of it gets mana back and a 500% healing buff, while adds caught in it take huge damage.

Strategy:

  • In Night, conserve Sunbeams, only clear stacks when they reach 10–12.
  • Tanks swap on Shadow Breath stacks.
  • Avoid Nightmares zones.
  • On Heroic, kill Dark of Night adds immediately before they eat Sunbeams.
  • In Day, stack in front of Tsulong so healers and adds get hit by Sun Breath.
  • Prioritize Unstable Sha adds first, then Embodied Terror and Fright Spawns.
  • Healers must pump everything into Tsulong, that’s the win condition.

3. Lei Shi

Lei Shi is a corrupted water spirit, and her fight is one long phase filled with gimmicks.

Key Abilities:

  • Spray: Frost cone that hits tanks and stacks a debuff, increasing Frost damage taken.
  • Afraid: Every 10% health lost, Lei Shi casts faster, which means more Sprays.
  • Protect (at 80/60/40/20%): Lei Shi becomes shielded and summons multiple adds. Killing one add removes the shield; the rest go dormant.
  • Hide: Lei Shi disappears and becomes untargetable except by AoEs. Spam AoEs (Blizzard, Fan of Knives, etc.) to reveal her.
  • Get Away!: Lei Shi pushes everyone outward while dealing raid-wide damage. Run toward her to reduce the pushback and take less damage.
  • Heroic: Scary Fog. Standing inside increases damage dealt and taken. Players can stack it for a DPS boost but need strong healing support.

Strategy:

  • Tanks swap when Spray stacks get too high.
  • DPS and healers should spread out to avoid overlapping Spray damage.
  • During Protect, kill one add quickly. Crowd-control or kite the rest.
  • When Lei Shi hides, AoE everywhere (especially edges) to reveal her fast.
  • On Get Away!, pop cooldowns and run toward her to burn her down.
  • On Heroic, assign players to stack Scary Fog safely for extra damage on the boss.

4. Sha of Fear

The final boss and the climax of Terrace of Endless Spring. Sha of Fear is fought on a huge platform, with part of the raid sent to outer shrines by his mechanics.

Phase 1 – Terrace (Main Platform):

  • Wall of Light: a safe zone. You must stand inside it or die to Breath of Fear.
  • Breath of Fear: raid-wide wipe if you’re outside the Wall.
  • Thrash: heavy tank damage.
  • Terror Spawns: adds immune from the front, so DPS must hit them from behind or sides.
  • Ominous Cackle: teleports 1 tank, 1 healer, and 3 DPS to outer shrines.

Outer Shrines:

  • Players fight corrupted guardians.
  • Dread Spray: cone attack, if you’re hit twice, you get feared.
  • Death Blossom: big AoE spin. Hide behind pillars to avoid.
  • Sha Globes: floating orbs. Players should pick them up to restore resources and prevent the guardian from healing.
  • Killing the guardian sends you back with Fearless buff (+60% damage/healing/move speed).

Heroic Phase 2 – Dread Expanse:

  • Dread Thrash: brutal tank attack, use big cooldowns.
  • Naked and Afraid: tank debuff, forces swaps.
  • Implacable Strike: giant frontal cone. Avoid at all costs.
  • Huddle in Terror: DoT + fear on random players. Remove with Transfer Light or strong healing.
  • Submerge: Sha disappears, then reappears under random players. Spread out to survive.
  • Dread Spawns: adds that fixate on the Light bearer. Must be kited and killed before they cast Eternal Darkness.

Strategy:

  • Always have someone standing in the Wall of Light, if not, it’s a wipe.
  • Outer Shrine groups need to avoid fears, pick up Sha Globes, and burn guardians fast. The Fearless buff is crucial to raid DPS.
  • Tanks rotate on Thrash and Naked and Afraid debuff.
  • On Heroic, careful positioning is everything: spread out, dodge Implacable Strikes, and kite adds.

Terrace of Endless Spring Loot & Rewards

Terrace of Endless Spring may only have four bosses, but the loot quality makes it one of the most rewarding raids in MoP Classic. This is where players finish off their Tier 14 set, grab some of the strongest Sha-Touched weapons, and even unlock Elite gear if they handle the Protectors encounter in a special way.

Item Level Overview

DifficultyStandard LootElite Mode (Kaolan last)
Normal496 ilvl503 ilvl
Heroic509 ilvl516 ilvl

Elite Mode means killing Protector Kaolan last in the Protectors of the Endless fight. It works like a mini hard-mode toggle and upgrades all drops by +7 item levels.

Tier 14 Tokens

Terrace of Endless Spring is where you complete head and shoulder slots for your Tier 14 set:

  • Head: Sha of Fear
  • Shoulders: Lei Shi

Other Tier 14 tokens (chest, gloves, legs) drop in Heart of Fear.

Sha-Touched Weapons

The biggest prize of Terrace loot tables are the Sha-Touched weapons. These items can be upgraded with legendary Sha-Touched Gems and were considered BiS for many specs in early MoP.

Loot by Boss

Protectors of the Endless (first fight, tied to Elite Mode)

  • Cloak of Overwhelming Corruption (Cloth back)
  • Kaolan’s Withering Necklace (Neck)
  • Regail’s Crackling Dagger (Dagger)
  • Asani’s Uncleansed Sandals (Leather boots)
  • Bracers of Defiled Earth (Plate wrists)

Achievements in Terrace of Endless Spring

  • Power Overwhelming: Defeat Protectors with each boss killed last.
  • Who’s Got Two Green Thumbs?: Win Tsulong fight while keeping the Enchanted Plant alive.
  • Face Clutchers: Kill Lei Shi while everyone is affected by Parasitic Clutch.
  • The Mind-Killer: Defeat Sha of Fear without anyone being feared.
  • Heroic achievements: One for each boss.
  • Ahead of the Curve: Sha of Fear: Kill him on Normal before Throne of Thunder release.
  • Cutting Edge: Sha of Fear: Kill him on Heroic before Throne of Thunder release.
  • Glory of the Pandaria Raider: Requires Terrace + other Tier 14 raid achieves. Rewards Heavenly Crimson Cloud Serpent.

Final Thoughts

The raid might not be as huge as others from the same era, but that’s what makes it nice, you jump straight into the action without hours of trash. And the loot is still worth the effort: Tier 14 head and shoulders, Sha-Touched weapons.

Of course, not everyone has the time (or patience) to deal with endless PUG wipes. If you’d rather skip straight to the rewards, a Terrace of Endless Spring Heroic Boost is the smoothest route. With a pro guild team, you can guarantee 1–3 specific items of your choice, secure your Tier set pieces, and even grab those Sha-Touched weapons without rolling dice on RNG.

Good luck in your runs, and may Sha of Fear drop that one piece you’ve been waiting for since Pandaria first launched!
