BO6 Gorgofex Wonder Weapon Overview
Gorgofex is unlike any other Wonder Weapon in BO6 Zombies. It looks and feels like a living Dark Aether organism, with a heart-like core that pulses and sends energy through glowing membranes along its body.
Its primary attack fires a slug of concentrated Aether energy. A quick shot delivers focused, high-damage impact, while a charged shot creates a short-lived gravitational field that lifts enemies into the air, leaving them vulnerable.
The base version cannot be Pack-a-Punched, which limits its late-game potential. To fully unlock its power, players must upgrade it into one of two variants: Gorgofex C or Gorgofex N — each offering improved performance and playing a role in the map’s final Easter Egg outcome.
How to Get the Gorgofex in Reckoning
From spawn, use the right elevator to reach the T1 Mutant Research Lab.
- Check the terminal near Deadshot Daiquiri. When the static clears, note the first capital letter of the displayed word.
- Go to the west test area near the Richtofen clone vat and repeat for the second letter.
- Combine the letters to identify an element on the Periodic Table (south wall). Take its atomic number, add a “0” in front if it’s only two digits.
- Enter the code on the upstairs keypad to unlock the Bioweapons Lab.
- Inside, you’ll find a metal case containing an alien Cyst (Soul Box).
Filling the Cyst:
- Kill 3 Vermin or Parasites close to it (their essence will float inside).
- Repeat with 3 standard zombies.
- Once full, interact to collect the Cyst.
From spawn, take the left elevator to T1 Quantum Computing Core.
- Approach a giant Dark Aether plant with the Cyst to drain its health.
- Strafe in circles to avoid the plant’s acid.
- Repeat with three different plants across Quantum Computing Core and Lab.
Use the launch pad from Quantum Computing to reach T2 Dark Entity Containment.
- Activate 4 terminals around the room, starting northeast and moving clockwise.
- Complete the sequence quickly. The step is timed.
- Once done, an Uber Klaus will spawn.
- Destroy the shoulder shield generators to weaken it without killing.
- Guide it onto the platform in front of The Forsaken.
- The Forsaken will take control, starting the boss fight.
- And your final step is to defeat The Forsaken and claim the Gorgofex.
- Target the Dark Aether crystals on its shoulders.
- Eliminate the exploding mini-Klauses it summons.
After the fight, interact with the glowing orb to summon the Gorgofex Wonder Weapon.
How to Upgrade Gorgofex in BO6 Zombies
You can only unlock one upgrade per run. Both allow Pack-a-Punch use and affect the Easter Egg ending.
Gorgofex C: Panos’ Path (Canon Ending)
- Start by visiting the T1 Executive Suite and speaking to Blanchard.
- Head to Project Janus Reception and press the red button to disable an elevator.
- Drop down the Quantum Computing Core shaft, hitting three red buttons as you fall.
- This will spawn a wave of blue-aura zombies — eliminate them with the Gorgofex.
- When Panos appears, interact with him to receive the Gorgofex C.
Gorgofex N: Blanchard’s Betrayal (Alternate Ending)
- Speak to Blanchard in the T1 Executive Suite, then collect the Strauss Counter from the Quantum Computing Core.
- Using it, find four parts:
- Life Drain Serum (shoot with a charged Gorgofex)
- PC Fan (Dark Entity Containment)
- Tubing (T1 Quantum Computing Lab)
- Clean Hood (T1 Bioweapons Lab)
- Build the Essence Extractor and survive the lockdown as it drains Blanchard.
- Take the vial back to where you found the Cyst.
- Charge it to unlock the Gorgofex N.
