About our WoW SoD Rune Boost
Runes are a new gameplay mechanic introduced in World of Warcraft's newest and most unique iteration: Season of Discovery. Alongside newly revamped talents, Runes allow players to customize their class and spec to a far greater degree than ever before, permitting much more experimentation, a much wider net of what is considered 'meta', and a playground to experiment with brand new class abilities and even entire specs.
Since Season of Discovery is all about trying new things, Blizzard has openly stated that they're using SoD as a testing area to look at how changing certain class dynamics, adding or removing certain abilities, or completely overhauling how specific specializations work from the bottom up might change their gameplay. This, paired with totally new loot pools from all dungeons and raids, revamped Bosses with changed dynamics, new abilities and much higher health pools allows for a perfect place to experiment with all sorts of new and wacky class, spec and ability combos.
Just a few of these strange new class features include:
Warriors with Spellcasting: Warriors can now tap into spell-based abilities, such as a fire-based shout that deals area damage, giving them unique versatility and making them more dynamic in PvE and PvP.
Healing Totems for Paladins: Paladins gain access to healing totems, similar to Shaman abilities, allowing them to provide sustained group healing. This addition offers Paladins a more supportive role and greater utility.
Rogues with Ranged Poison Attacks: Rogues can use poison-tipped projectiles to deliver damage from a distance, adding a ranged element to their toolkit that makes them more adaptable in encounters with high mobility.
Mages with Elemental Specializations: Mages can specialize further into elemental forms, boosting their effectiveness with fire, frost, or arcane spells. This specialization path adds depth to their damage output and adaptability in different scenarios.
Druids with Spirit Animal Forms: Druids now have access to spirit animal forms that grant different combat bonuses, allowing them to switch roles on the fly. This flexibility makes Druids more versatile and responsive in both PvE and PvP settings.
