Introduction
PvP is great in Mists of Pandaria Classic. From Hunters showing why they’re OP, to Paladins and Warlocks one-shotting everything. No one is immune to the great Mistweaver healers and generally strong Monks. Here are some of the best Team Compositions you can run in MoP Classic and have some PvP fun and potentially reach even Gladiator!
Best Team Comps in Mists of Pandaria
Here are some of the strongest and most fun comps to play. Having good utility, with loads of defensive cooldowns, will make your way through this piece of content fun. With a good healer that will offset in case you need to drop your burst and offensives, you will reach that Gladiator in no time!
Warrior/Hunter/Any Healer
This one is fairly strong due to the strong Meele and Range that these two classes bring to the table. Warrior is one of the tankier melee classes and has good self-sustain with hard, consistent damage, while Hunter can kite good, to provide a very dynamic environment for both of these classes.
As for the healer, we do recommend going for a Restoration Shaman. Ascendance forms provide a big healing burst, as the usual target would be Resto Shaman once enemies open, this way you can make sure to wait for the form to be forced and then dropping a big burst and healing on enemies yourself, with the dynamic of this team you should be able to burst down at least one enemy down. Another good option is a Mistweaver Monk, due to its high mobility, which provides a good synergy with both classes, as you can have your whole team be all over the place and have enemies scatter around, providing an easy target.
Warlock/Shaman/Druid
This is a very strong team comp, due to the high damage that Warlock has. However, due to it being a bit slower to amp up, Shaman and Druid provide a good synergy with this, allowing the Warlock to shine more. They both bring a lot of utility on top of on-demand healing (In case of all classes since they have passive healing) - Both Druid and Shaman can also provide additional healing. High CCs and good control of the enemies will make you feel a lot safer, while enemies will be annoyed to the core with constant CCs. Restoration Druid is also great, due to the Bear form and constant overtime healing that it can apply. They can shift and take far more damage, and if they have lots of cooldowns, enemies just have to drop the focus and move to someone else.
Burst is also there, as mentioned, and due to Warlock being a bit slower in the burst department, Shaman absolutely enables the maximum of this and just gives you an insane amount of high damage numbers that are dropped all the way.
Warrior/Mage/Mistweaver
Similarly to the Warrior and Hunter, this one has a good dynamic of Range and Melee. However, Mage has far more magic damage with good CC and even better kiting than a Hunter. With Mistweaver, this class simply gets unleashed, because Warrior provides constant pressure, while the other two classes are so hard to catch and constantly slipping from the grasp of enemies due to slows, and Warrior constantly being on them. It has good kiting potential once you play around pillars, and it’s simply a very fun comp to play.
