Broken Isles Zones in WoW Legion Remix

The Broken Isles are the core continent of the World of Warcraft: Legion Remix event. This re-imagined version of the Legion expansion lets players level from 10 to 80 entirely within the Isles, while earning Bronze, Infinite Power, and Artifactium Sand through campaign quests, rares, and dungeons.

Each of the five leveling zones: Azsuna, Val’sharah, Highmountain, Stormheim, and Suramar, features its own campaign, faction, dungeons, and achievements. Later event phases also unlock The Broken Shore (Phase 3) and Argus (Phase 4), expanding endgame Bronze and Infinite Knowledge rewards.

How to Unlock the Broken Isles Questing Zones

After finishing the Legion Remix intro questline (ending with A Fixed Point in Time), you’ll gain access to the Scouting Map inside your Class Order Hall. From this map you can choose any starting campaign zone, all content scales dynamically, so you can begin anywhere.

Requirements:

  • Complete the Dalaran intro chain from Moratari and Khadgar.
  • Unlock your Order Hall and Artifact Replica weapon.
  • Use the Scouting Map to start your first campaign.

You can freely travel between zones once unlocked, Skyriding and flight are available immediately after completing the intro.

Azsuna

Azsuna is the perfect introduction to Legion Remix. Compact, fast-paced, and filled with treasures and world events, it’s where most players begin building their Bronze reserves and unlocking artifact traits.

You’ll work alongside Prince Farondis and the Court of Farondis, a spectral remnant of night elves cursed by Queen Azshara. The story is short but dense, taking you through naga infested coasts, ruined temples, and blue dragonflight sanctuaries.

Azsuna shines for Bronze farming thanks to its dense rare mob clusters and quick quest hubs. Each completed storyline awards Caches of Infinite Treasures, and the nearby dungeons: Eye of Azshara and Vault of the Wardens scale perfectly for early Infinite Power farming.

If you’re still unlocking early artifact traits or experimenting with Heroic World Tier, Azsuna gives the smoothest curve and excellent gear momentum before moving on.

Val’sharah

Val’sharah captures the calm and tragedy of druidic lore, now twisted by the Emerald Nightmare. Here you’ll assist Malfurion Stormrage and Ysera’s disciples in cleansing corruption spreading from Shaladrassil.

The zone is efficient for both XP and Bronze farming, offering tightly packed objectives and short travel routes. You’ll naturally gain reputation with the Dreamweavers, which later unlocks valuable crafting materials and event caches.

Val’sharah’s terrain encourages Skyriding — bronze orbs, floating demons, and Timewarped Obelisks appear frequently between quest hubs. Completing its campaign also contributes to the Lorerunner and Sojourner achievements, each granting Infinite Knowledge.

It’s a good second step in the Remix journey: simple quest flow, strong quest rewards, and a thematic break before more vertical terrain zones.

Highmountain

Highmountain offers both literal and mechanical elevation. It’s a massive, vertical zone inhabited by the Highmountain Tauren, centered around ancient cliffs, dragon caves, and underground lairs.

The area is one of the best for treasure and rare farming. Over forty hidden caches are scattered across peaks and caves, each dropping Bronze, Artifactium Sand, or Mementos. You’ll also face Drogbar enemies and ultimately confront Dargrul in Neltharion’s Lair.

Although navigation can be tricky on foot, Skyriding turns Highmountain into a rewarding farming route. The tight respawn cycle of rare mobs and plentiful gathering nodes make it ideal for stacking both Bronze and Infinite Power while upgrading your artifact.

If you enjoy longer, more open exploration or want to push Heroic World Tier efficiency: Highmountain delivers steady progress with the least downtime.

Stormheim

Stormheim blends exploration and challenge. You’ll join Odyn’s Valarjar in their struggle against Helya’s forces from Helheim, moving through steep fjords, cliffs, and vrykul ruins.

This zone has some of the most rewarding world bosses — Nithogg and the Soultakers and two excellent dungeons (Halls of Valor and Maw of Souls). Both are tuned for mid-game artifact development, offering stable Bronze and Infinite Power per clear.

The terrain is practically designed for Skyriding routes: multiple cliffs, airborne demons, and floating Timewarped Obelisks create natural loops for Bronze or XP collection.

Stormheim also becomes a hub for Heroic World Tier play. With increased mob scaling and bonus XP modifiers, experienced players use it to fine-tune builds and test higher-tier Infinite Talents without the danger spikes seen in Suramar.

Suramar

Suramar is the narrative centerpiece of the Broken Isles and the final chapter of the main campaign. You’ll ally with the Nightfallen, a faction of rebellious Nightborne resisting Elisande and her Legion-aligned magisters.

This is where Legion Remix shifts from linear questing to advanced Bronze and artifact farming. Suramar’s campaign offers Perfected Epoch Mementos and major Infinite Power boosts at the end of each story chapter.

The zone contains multiple high-end dungeons (Court of Stars and The Arcway) and the raid The Nighthold, all rebalanced for Remix rewards. Treasures are abundant, and Nightwell infusions provide additional Artifactium Sand.

Every major achievement here — Insurrection, Hidden Treasures, Lorerunner of Suramar grants Infinite Knowledge, making it the best endgame farming region before reaching the Broken Shore.

Efficient players use Suramar to finalize their artifact traits, build Bronze stockpiles, and prepare for high-tier dungeons or raid challenges.

The Broken Shore

After the first major event phase, the Broken Shore becomes available as a shared max-level zone. It continues the Legion story through the assault on the Tomb of Sargeras and introduces the Armies of Legionfall faction.

This zone shifts the focus entirely toward endgame rewards: weekly missions, rotating world bosses, and large group content. Defeating any of its major bosses grants Infinite Knowledge, while Legionfall dailies and caches provide Greater Bronze rewards and high-tier gear tokens.

The area also includes the Cathedral of Eternal Night dungeon and the Tomb of Sargeras raid, both tied to the Remix Bronze economy and Legendary caches. It’s the natural bridge between leveling content and the final Argus phase.

Argus

The final addition to Legion Remix brings players to Argus, the Legion’s corrupted homeworld. Split into Krokuun, Eredath, and Antoran Wastes, Argus offers no flying and constant elite combat, it’s the most intense part of the event, rewarding skillful play with the highest Bronze per hour.

Here you’ll face Invasion Points that spawn rotating world bosses, each dropping Greater Bronze Caches and rare Artifactium Sand. Completing the Argus storyline grants multiple Infinite Knowledge bonuses, culminating in the You Are Now Prepared! achievement.

While the open world is punishing, it’s also the most profitable for players who have mastered their Infinite Talents and Heroic Tier loadouts. Argus is where most Timerunners complete their builds, finalize artifact ranks, and farm cosmetics before the event ends.

Bronze, Infinite Power, and Campaign Flow

The Legion Remix rewards are designed to push you through steady world content rather than repetition. Campaign quests are the best overall source of Bronze and progression, while dungeons and world bosses fill in the gear gaps. Rares and treasures supplement both currencies and are worth clearing whenever nearby.

Tips for efficiency:

  • Scrap every piece of outdated gear with Unraveling Sands for Bronze and Artifactium Sand.
  • Stack Infinite Research before switching Heroic World Tier for better XP conversion.
  • Mix campaign progress with world quests, don’t grind one activity for too long.
  • Use the Remix Time ability strategically to burst through elite events.

Prioritize campaign achievements that grant Infinite Knowledge early, they’re permanent account-wide bonuses.
