Best profession to pair with Blacksmithing

There is only one profession that works flawlessly with Blacksmithing, and it is none other than Mining. Making sure that you have it prepared and ready to enter Pandaria is key to your success, as you must get a lot of ores to even think about progressing the bar!

Best zone for Blacksmithing in Pandaria

The best zone that has a lot of ores and is the most useful one is the Vale of Eternal Blossom, but that’s not all. Here you can also purchase recipes that will help you get the most valuable items to craft. To unlock Vale of Eternal Blossom, you need to get the quest Celestial Invitation (Unlocked on Level 87).

The vendors are located in capitals for each faction within Pandaria

  • Alliance: Cullen Hammerbrow in Shrine of Seven Stars
  • Horde: Jorunga Stonehoof in Shrine of Two Moons

Leveling Blacksmithing in Pandaria

You will need to reach 600 total to finish Blacksmithing; you will most likely start at 500 and grind your way through it. After you reach 575, you will be able to get recipes that will help you get to 600. The price of each recipe is x1 Spirit of Harmony, which can be farmed through obtaining x10 Mote of Harmony.

You will need around 58 to 68 Ghost Iron Bars to complete 600 of your bar, and after that, you will finish getting everything you need for Blacksmithing!
