Introduction
In this guide, we’re going to run through all the important things that you need to know to get your Tailoring up and ready for the raid nights and have some hefty gold ready to be earned by selling Cloth items and bags on the Auction House.
Leveling Tailoring in Pandaria
It’s one of the most straightforward professions; all you need to do is collect cloth items, mainly Windwool Cloth, and focus on getting as many as you can. They drop from a lot of mobs from the open world in Pandaria, so it shouldn’t be too hard. Here’s what’s the best min-max strategy for it:
500-535
To progress in the first 35 points, you’ll need the following:
- x64-x82 Bolt of Windwool Cloth requiring 320-410 Windwool Cloth
535-547
This one will be easier as you will have some Bolt of Windwool Cloth saved, and you can progress through it:
- x4 Windwool Boots requires 16 Bolt of Windwool Cloth
547-550
This one will only require you to craft x1 Windwool Boots that need 4 Bolts of Windwool Cloth
550-555
The following item can be crafted after you visit the Silken Fields located in the Valley of the Four Winds. You can go there at around Level 85, even if it’s a bit higher Level zone.
- x1 Imperial Silk requires 8 Bolt of Windwool Cloth
555-600
You will discover each recipe with the crafting of the Imperial Silk, making it progress through the bar faster. Each recipe discovery will give you 5 total points in the progression bar. Your goal is to discover the PvP recipes.
- x9 of whatever recipe you discover with Imperial Silk requires from 36 to 54 Bolts of Windwool Cloth
