The Valley of the Four Winds is one of Pandaria’s central zones, known for its farmlands, rivers, and relaxed atmosphere. Players usually enter here at level 86-87, right after finishing the Jade Forest. The zone also hides several treasures and rare spawns that are worth tracking down.

Exploring the valley can reward you with items tied to achievements like Lost and Found and Glorious!, plus a few unique drops that are useful or just fun collectibles. This guide lists all Valley of the Four Winds treasures, rare spawn locations, and an efficient route for gathering them.

How to Explore Valley of the Four Winds

  • Level Range: The zone is designed for level 86-87 characters, but the treasures and rares can be looted by anyone. Keep in mind that a few treasures, like the Virmen Treasure Cache, require a flying mount to reach.
  • Location: The Valley of the Four Winds sits just south of Kun-Lai Summit and west of Krasarang Wilds. You’ll enter the zone along the same road from the Jade Forest.
  • Plan your route in a north-to-south loop (starting near the Stormstout Brewery and ending around Thunderfoot Fields) to avoid unnecessary backtracking.
  • Exploration Achievements:
    • Lost and Found: for locating Pandaria’s hidden treasures.
    • Glorious!: for hunting down all rare spawns across Pandaria, including those in the Valley.
    • Explore Valley of the Four Winds: a simple map exploration achievement that you’ll complete while hunting treasures anyway.
