When talking about Raiding in WoW, most newer players might mention Nighthold, the Siege of Dzar'Alor or Castle Nathria as good examples of what a proper Warcraft raid would look like. Apart from being one of the cleanest looking weapons in WoW even by today's standards, Sulfuras hits really, really hard, especially in SoD. It is easily one of the strongest 2h weapons you can get in the game, as it can make your designated Warrior, Pally or Enhancement Shammy DPS hit like a truck. Or, if you're keen on gearing your tanks, Druids especially benefit from Sulfuras' passive Attack Power buff to any Druid shapeshift. The chance to deal Fire Damage every time you're hit is also a nice little cherry on top.

However, since Sulfuras hits so hard, it comes as no surprise that actually getting your hands on it is no easy feat. First off, you need to get the 3% drop rate Eye of Sulfuras from Ragnaros, then either level your Blacksmithing to 300 and get a ton of really expensive mats to craft the Sulfuron Hammer, or get another blacksmith to craft if for you, which would naturally cost even more. That is, if you're lucky or rich enough to farm up that Eye and all those mats, nevermind the massive time investment that comes from having to spam MC, especially if you don't have a team or guild to do it with.
