How do I talk directly with your support?

Do I need to register before buying?

You can buy even without being logged in, but you are always asked to insert an email. In fact, your order will always be connected to a BlazingBoost account. About our OSRS Barbarian Assault Service

Barbarian Assault is one of those pieces of OSRS content that sounds simple enough on paper: join a team, take on the Penance, and work together through waves of increasingly dangerous enemies. Located at the Barbarian Outpost, the minigame puts five players together and gives each one a specific role: Attacker, Defender, Collector, or Healer. You don't just show up and start swinging your whip around, either. Every role has its own responsibilities, and the team needs to work together if you want to make it through all ten waves of a full run.

The Attacker is responsible for dealing with the Penance creatures using the correct attack style, while the Defender lures enemies and keeps them away from the wrong places. The Collector picks up Penance eggs and loads them into the cannon, and the Healer keeps the team alive while dealing with the healing mechanics of the minigame. It sounds organized, and it is... at least when everyone knows what they're doing. When they don't, Barbarian Assault can become a surprisingly effective lesson in why communication matters.

There is also more to BA than simply surviving the waves. Completing runs earns Honor Points for your chosen role, which can be exchanged for Barbarian Assault rewards. Most players immediately think of the Fighter Torso, a popular melee chest option that has remained a classic OSRS upgrade for years. Other rewards include role-specific gear and the chance to work toward achievements connected to the minigame, making Barbarian Assault a worthwhile stop for players building their accounts or filling out their collection of goals.

The catch is that Barbarian Assault is very much a team activity. You can know your role perfectly and still have a rough run if the rest of the team is struggling. Callouts need to be followed, eggs need to go where they're supposed to go, Penance needs to be dealt with correctly, and nobody can afford to completely disappear when the Healer is trying to keep everyone standing. One person getting confused can quickly turn a smooth wave into “wait, what just happened?”

After a while, even the most dedicated OSRS player can start wondering whether they really wanted to spend their evening memorizing callouts and watching Penance spawn for the hundredth time.

Finding a reliable team can be another challenge altogether. Random groups can be hit or miss, and not everyone joining the Barbarian Outpost has the same experience level or patience for teaching. You might end up explaining the same mechanic repeatedly, waiting for a missing role, or watching a run fall apart because someone decided that following the team's strategy was apparently optional. At that point, “just one more run” starts sounding less like a plan and more like a threat.
