    About our WoW Mage Tower Boost

    Originally released all the way back in Legion, the Mage Tower is a class and spec specific instance where players have to overcome difficult challenges, namely fighting bosses with unique mechanics for every single spec in the game. Due to how challenging and rewarding it was, offering unique cosmetics for each class, players have been asking for it's return.

    During Shadowlands, the Mage Tower saw a brief return during the first ever Legion Timewalking event, then later became permanently available, featuring many of the same challenges that made it so enjoyable, albeit tweaked to better fit the current state of the game. Among these tweaks is the fact that Gear above 50 ilvl is scaled down, making certain older gear pieces more viable than even top-tier new gear.

    And with the release of The War Within, after leveling to 80, players will now once again be able to enter the Mage Tower to fight for it's unique rewards, including:

    7 unique challenges spread across every class and spec

    • The ‘A Towering Success’ Achievement for beating the Mage Tower with any class or spec
    • Unique Class-specific Transmogs, each being a set recolor of Legion Raid Gear sets
    • The Mage-Bound Spelltome Mount & ‘Tour of Towers’ achievement for beating every unique challenge
    • The rare ‘Tower Overwhelming’ Achievement after the Mage Tower has been successfully completed on every class & spec

    Alongside several other smaller Mage Tower achievements. However, although the Tower might be older content, it is still among the most difficult activities in the entire game. 

    It is designed to be difficult to test players' skills, both in terms of general gamesense and class knowledge, which alongside their downscaled gear makes the Tower impossible to cheat. Even BiS current content gear becomes no better than a random green item when you go into the Tower. And although there are ways to boost your chances, like using old Legion gear which isn’t downscaled and retains it's passive effects, completing even one challenge can be extremely difficult and time consuming.
