What's New in Season 2?
As usual, this new season refreshes the Mythic+ roster, featuing a wide variety of brand new dungeons alongside a couple of blasts from the past:
Dungeon Rotation Refresh: Out of the eight new dungeons coming to the Mythic+ Rotation, 6 are brand new, while two, the Theater of Pain and Mechagon: Workshop, are returning
Affix Adjustments: The introduction of the "Shattered Realities" seasonal affix and a revised affix rotation aim to diversify gameplay.
Reward Scaling: Updated gear rewards and Mythic+ rating requirements provide clear progression paths.
New Meta Achievement: TWW S2 brings a new M+ Meta Achievement titled "Keystone Legend", which you can earn by getting +3000 Mythic Rating
New 0.1% Title: With the new season comes a new pinnacle achievement & title, the "Enterprising Hero", which can be earned by reaching the top 0.1% of players in your region

Notable Achievements and Titles
Season 2 introduces several prestigious achievements:
Keystone Explorer: Complete a Mythic+ dungeon within the time limit.
Keystone Conqueror: Attain a Mythic+ Rating of at least 1,500. Rewards the "Enterprising"
Keystone Master: Attain a Mythic+ Rating of at least 2,000 Rewards the Crimson Shreddertank mount
Keystone Hero: Attain a Mythic+ Rating of at least 2,500
Keystone Legend: Attain a Mythic+ Rating of at least 3,000 Rewards the Enterprising Shreddertank mount
Enterprising Hero: End the season in the top 0.1% of Mythic+ Ratings. Rewards the "Enterprising Hero" title
Dungeon Teleports
Completing a timed +10 or higher in a specific dungeon grants a teleport spell straight to that dungeon's entrance (or at least, very close to it). These are permanent, meaning once you unlock the dungeon teleport once, you'll have it forever!
If you missed your chance to earn the dungeon portal during some of the returning dungeons original seasons, such as Mechagon or the Theater of Pain, then you're in luck - you can fill out that blank spot in your spellbook by doing them at +10 this season!
Season 2 Dungeon Rotation
The Season 2 Mythic+ dungeon pool comprises eight dungeons, blending new content with classic favorites:
Operation: Floodgate (New): Located in the Ringing Deeps, this dungeon challenges players to navigate complex water-based mechanics
Cinderbrew Meadery (New): Set in a bustling brewery, players must manage intoxicated patrons and fiery hazards
Darkflame Cleft (New): A subterranean dungeon filled with shadow-infused enemies and treacherous terrain
Priory of the Sacred Flame (New): Defend a sacred monastery from invading forces, balancing offense and defense
The Rookery (New): Navigate a labyrinthine aviary filled with aggressive avian foes
The MOTHERLODE!! (Returning from Battle for Azeroth): Delve into a goblin-operated venture co. mine, facing mechanical and monetary threats
Theater of Pain (Returning from Shadowlands): Compete in gladiatorial combat against formidable opponents in Maldraxxus
Operation: Mechagon – Workshop (Returning from Battle for Azeroth): Infiltrate King Mechagon's domain, tackling mechanical monstrosities
Affix Changes
Xal'atath's Bargain Affixes: These rotating affixes now activate starting at Mythic+4 keystone levels, moving up from the previous Mythic+2 starting point
Tyrannical and Fortified: These affixes now begin at Mythic+7, replacing the Challenger's Peril affix from Season 1
Xal'atath's Guile: At Mythic+12, this affix introduces increased timer penalties for deaths, replacing the previous additional 10% health increase to enemy mobs
Affix Rotation
The weekly affix rotation for Season 2 is as follows:
- Week 1: Xal'atath's Bargain: Ascendant, Tyrannical
- Week 2: Xal'atath's Bargain: Pulsar, Fortified
- Week 3: Xal'atath's Bargain: Voidbound, Tyrannical
Note: This rotation repeats every three weeks.
Rewards and Gear Scaling
Completing higher-level Mythic+ dungeons yields better gear:
Mythic 0: Champion-track gear (ilvl 636)
Mythic 2-5: Champion 2-4 gear (ilvl 639-645)
Mythic 6: Hero 1 gear (ilvl 649)
Mythic 7-9: Hero 2-4 gear (ilvl 652-658)
Mythic 10+: Myth 1 gear (ilvl 662)
The Great Vault offers additional rewards based on the highest keystone completed each week.
Crests and Valorstones
Similarly to past seasons, you'll need Crests and Valorstones to upgrade your gear. Depending on the Crest Tier, you can earn them from a variety of activities and dugneon difficulties.
In Season 2, different Crests are awarded based on the keystone level of the Mythic+ dungeon completed:
- Carved Crests: Drop from Mythic 0 dungeons
- Runed Crests: Drop from Mythic 2 to 6 dungeons
- Gilded Crests: Drop from Mythic 7 and above dungeons
Completing higher level Keys will award you with progressively higher amouts of Crests (up to 20 Gilded per timed run at +12) and Valorstones, both of which you can spend to upgrade your gear at the Upgrade Vendor in Dornogal (coordinates: 51.9, 42.13, in the little shop to the left of the Bank).
