WoW The War Within Brewfest Season 3

The War Within Brewfest takes place from September 23 to October 9, 2025 (ending at 10 AM PST). Players can find the festival outside Ironforge (Alliance) and Orgrimmar (Horde). The event celebrates food, drinks, and various activities, offering exclusive rewards and remaining one of WoW’s most popular holidays thanks to its unique collectibles and achievements.

During the event, players earn Brewfest Prize Tokens by completing daily quests, mini-games, and defeating the holiday boss, Coren Direbrew. Tokens can be spent on a wide selection of mounts, pets, toys, and transmog gear.

Brewfest Dates & Locations

The War Within Brewfest begins on September 23, 2025 and runs until October 9, 2025, ending at 10:00 AM PST. Festival camps are set up outside the major faction capitals: Ironforge for the Alliance and Orgrimmar for the Horde.

What’s New in Brewfest The War Within 2025

Brewfest in The War Within adds several new collectibles and adjustments compared to previous years. Players will notice new mounts, cosmetic ensembles, toys, and updated loot rules for Coren Direbrew.

• New Mount - Brewfest Barrel Bomber: This flying mount is the highlight of Brewfest 2025. It only drops from your first Coren Direbrew kill of the day and is account-wide, meaning only one character per account can trigger the drop chance each day.
• New Transmog Sets - Brewer’s Basic Ensembles: Four color variants of the new Brewer’s Basic outfit are available this year: Black, Green, Blue, and Basic. Each ensemble contains four pieces. Pieces are purchased individually from the Ensemble Vendor for Brewfest Prize Tokens. Costs range from 150–200 Tokens per piece, depending on the slot.
• New Toy - Brewer’s Balloon: This cosmetic toy summons a floating balloon companion themed after Brewfest. It is sold by Toy Vendors for 200 Brewfest Prize Tokens and can be collected by any character. Like other toys, it goes directly into your Toy Box for account-wide use.
• New Item - Bag of Brewfest Merchandise: A consumable bag that contains a random selection of Brewfest-themed goods, such as food, beverages, or novelty items. This bag gives players another reason to return daily, as its contents vary and may include items not obtainable elsewhere.
• Drop Rate Updates: The loot table for Coren Direbrew has been updated. Chances to obtain long-standing mounts like the Great Brewfest Kodo and Swift Brewfest Ram have been slightly adjusted. In addition, the Renewed Proto-Drake: Brewfest Armor customization item now has a progressive daily chance system, the longer you participate, the higher your odds become.

Activities & Daily Quests

Brewfest combines a holiday dungeon encounter with daily activities and fun open-world events around the festival camps. Each activity either rewards Brewfest Prize Tokens directly or provides a chance at unique loot.

Coren Direbrew (Holiday Boss)

Coren Direbrew is the main boss of Brewfest, found in the Grim Guzzler inside Blackrock Depths. Players can queue for him directly through the Dungeon Finder.

• The first kill of the day (account-wide) has a much higher chance to drop rare mounts, toys, weapons, and Direbrew’s Remote.
• This first kill also starts the short quest “Direbrew’s Dire Brew,” which rewards 40 Brewfest Prize Tokens.
• Additional kills after the first still provide loot bags but with greatly reduced drop chances.

Ram Racing

Ram Racing is one of the classic Brewfest mini-games. Players mount a special Brewfest Ram and deliver kegs within a time limit.

• Speed is controlled by toggling whip abilities; pushing the ram too hard makes it tired and slows down.
• Successful deliveries grant Brewfest Prize Tokens and are repeatable during the event.
• The race is available daily and is a consistent way to stock up on tokens.

Brewfest Chowdown

The Chowdown is a competitive sausage-eating contest that pits four players against each other.

• Participants must eat sausages quickly while managing a “stomach” bar that fills over time.
• The first player to finish their plate wins the round and receives Chowdown Champion Tokens.
• These tokens can be exchanged for the Brewfest Chowdown Trophy toy and other minor rewards.

Daily Quests

Several smaller activities rotate each day at the festival grounds:

• Bark Quests: Players advertise their faction’s breweries by riding a ram through nearby city routes and shouting slogans. Completing the route grants tokens.
• Festival Invasions: Drunken Dark Iron Dwarves regularly attack the camps. Defending the grounds successfully awards Brewfest Prize Tokens and helps keep the festival safe.
• Food and Drink Quests: Vendors may send players to sample their products, adding extra flavor (and tokens) to the event.

Brewfest Enthusiast Buff

Every day at 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM server time, players can gather near the Brewfest grounds to receive the Brewfest Enthusiast buff.

• This buff lasts 2 hours, increases XP gained, and persists through death.
• Ideal for leveling alts during the event, since it stacks with heirlooms and rested XP.

Coren Direbrew Loot Table

The boss Coren Direbrew can be defeated once per day, per account. Your first daily kill has significantly higher chances for rare drops.
