New spec for Demon Hunter teased in 11.2?
There have been some rumours regarding a whole new spec for the Demon Hunter. We know that DH is the class that only has 2 specs, with even Evoker having 3 now, Demon Hunter players are kinda left with a sour taste.
Everything might change, however, with the newest patch and season, as there have been some rumours and talks about the spec, once we saw a video where Blizzard showed 3 demon hunters standing next to each other. This is the alleged boss within the raid, one themed around the DPS spec, while the other was more bulky, meaning a tank. There was also a third one, one in the middle that was themed around the void, and since we know that there is no third spec for the DH, this posed a question: was this a small teaser that Blizzard is yet to reveal?
Datamining information
There has also been a big datamined model that’s fully themed around the void. It is none other than a Metamorphosis form of the legendary class we’re talking about. A new Illidan-looking form we used in one of the main abilities for both specs of the Demon Hunter. Could this potentially be related to the new spec? So far, we don’t know for sure. They could also give us a void elf Demon Hunters, but that would, I feel, be quite disappointing if it did turn like that.
All we can do now is wait and see what Blizzard has cooked up in their offices and hope for the best. Indeed, a third spec for the Demon Hunter might be a really fun addition to the game, that many players have been waiting for quite some time.
