There are some brand new additions to the legendary Midsummer Festival added with this newest iteration of the event. We’re getting a bunch of cool cosmetics and the drops from the boss Frost Lord Ahune, which includes two new weapons.
We’re also getting the Midsummer in Khaz’Algar, and the new camps will be scattered across the 4 zones in Khaz’Algar (Isle of Dorn, The Ringing Deeps, Hallowfall, Azj’Kahet) - The camps will be located within the zones, and you can find the bonfires also in the zones mentioned above.

- Flame Warden of Khaz Algar (Alliance)
What’s the objective of the Midsummer Event?
Like all the holiday events, this is an event that will last for a short period. Specifically, Midsummer Festival lasts from June 21 - July 5, 2025. After that, you would need to wait another year for it to come back, so trying to get all the things, cosmetics, and achievements in this cycle is important, and here’s what the general objective consists of:
There are a lot of Bonfires spread across the zones in Azeroth. Your goal is to go from one to the other and light or extinguish them. You will earn experience, gold, and a currency: Burning Blossom.
- Spend Burning Blossom at the vendor to earn some cosmetics, mounts, pets, and toys
- You can earn the title Flame Keeper (As a Horde) and Flame Warden (As an Alliance player)
- Fight Lord Ahune and get some of the unique cosmetics only tied to this boss, with drops awaiting you each day.
- You can dance around the Ribbon Pole to gain an experience buff; this will be a significant boost during this event if you wish to level an Alt character.
- There are various activities that you can explore in your major cities.
