Introduction
We’re getting yet another massive update that will keep us occupied before the Season 3 and Ghosts of K’aresh come with the patch 11.2. On July 1 lasting till July 29, we’re getting a brand new addition to the many things we’ve had added post-season 2, and this time it’s Loot Treasure Goblin, the famous Diablo gremlin is making a return with bunch of loot, cool recolors of beloved sets and an increased mount drop chance applied on all content where mounts drop pre-Dragonflight including some of the items that are considered rare as well.
Greedy Treasure Goblin Portals and rewards
As the greedy goblin returns with some Diablo themes, he also brings Inarius’ Charger once again, allowing players to obtain it. He will also have appearances in multiple zones, with the portal appearing every 60 minutes. They can appear in the following zones:
- Dornogal: The Portal is by the southeastern city exit after the target dummy area.
- Orgrimmar: The Portal is outside Orgrimmar, at the entrance gate.
- Stormwind: The Portal is around Stormwind Docks
- Undermine: It can spawn after killing a rare, and also within the Liberation of Undermine, after killing a boss, there is a chance for a portal to spawn. There is also on every quarter-hour, a special enhanced version appearing called Portal Storm. It can spawn up to 5 Portals with Greedy Goblins.
Greedy Treasure Goblin Affixes and Elixirs
There will also be special Affixes that can drop Elixirs with all different effects. Here’s the list of them all:

| Defeaning | Defeaning Elixir | Casts Howl From Hell, knocking back all enemies within 50 yards. |
| Explosive | Explosive Elixir | Conjures Explosive orbs at enemies. After a short delay, they explode, dealing Fire damage to enemies caught in the blast. |
| Healthy | Healthy Elixir | Spawns health globes that heal players who step on them. |
| Magma | Magma Elixir | Hurls Magma at enemies, dealing Volcanic damage. Each impact summons a ball of lava that fixates on an enemy and deals Volcanic damage on impact. |
| Rallying | Rallying Elixir | Occasionally spawns hordes of Demonic Bovines. |
| Rich | Rich Elixir | Spawns pools of money that give Greedy Motivation when stepped on, increasing Haste and Movement Speed for 15 seconds. |

| Tempestuoous | Tempestuous Elixir | Pulls enemies to the Goblin with Tempest and then attempts to hit them with Arcane Gust, dealing Arcane damage and knocking enemies back. |
| Trapper | Trapper Elixir | Spawns Goblin Zapper traps, which deal 11% max health damage to enemies stepping on them. |
| Windforce | Windforce Elixir | Spawns Wind Vortexes that deal Nature damage and knock back players in the impact area. |
Collector’s Bounty Buff: Increased Mount and Rare items drop chance
This is a great addition and a very unique event, to keep us occupied and satisfied with some new mounts and shiny transmogs that we’ve not been too lucky to get. Mounts will have over x10 TIMES increased drop chance, with some even having x25 Increase.
Transmogs will also drop from legacy dungeons far more often, being doubled. This applies to all content pre-Dragonflight, both mounts and transmogs. Some rare items have had having drop chance for ages that are also included in this:
- ALL Mount drop chances increased in Legacy content pre-Dragonflight expansion.
- Warglaives of Azzinoth (Black Temple)
- Thori'dal, The Stars' Fury (Sunwell Plateau)
- Golden Hearthstone Card (The Nighthold)
- Bindings of the Windseeker (Molten Core)
- Eye of Sulfuras (Molten Core)
Return of the Tier 2 Class Armor Sets with a new Recolor
There’s a resurgence of the reworked and upgraded Tier 2 Sets we got for Anniversary, and in a different color for people to unlock. Treasure Goblins will drop a new currency that can be used to buy these new recolored armor pieces and refine your transmog collection with brand new shiny gear! These new sets are also available for all classes, same like the Anniversary ones, so you don’t have to worry about being left behind!
Goblins will drop Hellcaller Chests that can award you the aforementioned currency, Hellstone Shards, and Valorstones as well, so you can grind in peace, as you can kill these goblins an unlimited number of times per day; they spawn in zones other than Undermine every hour.
