Introduction
As with every major patch in World of Warcraft, we’re getting a new raid, Manaforge Omega, in patch 11.2. It’s going to be Ethereal Themed and have a bunch of Void-like thematics inside it. We’re also going to explore a potential new alliance with our enemy Xal’Atath, and we’re going to attempt to stop a new (old) foe, Dimensius, who is this time far, FAR bigger than the one we met before, and yes, it’s going to be the BIGGEST sized boss we fight in-game yet (we’re still theorizing if he’s bigger than Sargeras!).
What do we know so far about the Manaforge Omega Raid in S3?
The raid will be coming to the PTR on July 11th, when we will know more about the actual mechanics of the raid. So far, we only have the Raiders’ Journal that explains some of the abilities and what they might do. However, we would need to wait for the actual testing, so we can form some good guide strategies that will help you clear the raid and dive into the patch prepared!
We also might have a special boss, that’s technically not a secret one, but rather a skippable one. This boss, or rather a raid encounter, is The Soul Hunters. We don’t know for sure what the reason is behind this boss becoming potentially a skippable one, but it is clearly missing from the Hall of Fame list, meaning only 7 Bosses are required to get the achievement.
It’s speculated that this boss might be far more difficult for the mid-stage of the raid, being the fifth boss. There could also be some alterations to the raid if the boss is killed, meaning that we might see an interesting approach to this new piece of content.
So, as time passes and we learn more about the raid, we should have the Manaforge Omega Raid Guide ready in no time, and you can freely dive into the new challenges awaiting in Ghosts of K’aresh

Raid Manaforge Omega Bosses Overview
We're going to run through each boss and see some of the mechanics, and explain what to expect from each specific boss and their respective encounter.
Plexus Sentinel
A giant void construct that’ll try to stop you from advancing further through the raid and make sure Dimensius is born once again. He sees us as impurities and his only duty is to stop us from progressing.
Loom’ithar
This specific boss will have two phases, a chaotic and interesting encounter filled with loads of arcane power surging through the arena, as the boss will try as hard as we to stop him.
In phase two, the boss will split into two different forms. This will occur on half HP. After that, we have to try and stop the chaos that will ensue, filling the arena with lots of arcane, powerful attacks.
Soulbinder Naazindhri
Similarly to the majority of the raid, this is another void entity here to make sure we’re not stopping their wicked plan. The lost souls of the world of K’aresh are all twisted and made to be mindless Ethereals inside the Soul Machine.
The boss will attack with powerful void attacks, volatile energy, and a bunch of orbs that will swarm the whole arena in an attempt to put an end to our raiding of Manaforge Omega!
Forgeweaver Araz
This powerful void being is trying to feed on the energy by consuming his enemies and giving all the life-force to the ever-hungry being that keeps on growing in power. The arena will be filled with loads of unstable energy, void-themed attacks, and lots of purple unstable energy surging through the whole location. He is trying to start a ritual to empower the enemy we’re so desperately trying to defeat, Dimensius
After the ritual succeeds, he will then sacrifice himself, and we will be fighting a bunch of enemies in a new, dark, and haunting environment.
The Soul Hunters
As mentioned previously, this might be an optional encounter that we can choose to do. We will be fighting three enemies, demon hunters Adarus, Velaryn, and Ilyssa, each with a different theme and mechanics, as well as abilities tied to them.
- Adarus will attempt to stop us with the powerful void energy and attacks filled with the very essence that is quite familiar inside the raid.
- Velaryn, an angry demon hunter, will use Eye Beams and all sorts of well-known demon-fighting tactics to ensure they win this battle
- Ilyssa uses the souls of her opponents to attack us in powerful attacks that fill the arena with AoE damage
After some time, as they fight and become angrier with us, they all use Methamorphosis and use it to combine their attacks all in one chaotic surge.
Fractillus
Another void entity that’s swarming with the powerful purple-bluish energy, ready to unleash the wrath of the darkness within. We will need to position around the arena really precisely and coordinate with our raid buddies to ensure we’re victorious.
The boss will summon crystals as it smashes the ground, making a storm and narrowing the area in which we navigate, trying to avoid the crystals. Once he decides it’s enough, he will unleash these crystals at us, and we need to make sure to survive.
Nexus-King Salhadaar
Another battle that contains multiple phases, where this powerful king is not here to mess around. He also has a dragon companion, Voidwing, and he’ll try to compel players and turn them into thralls that obey his command.
After some time, he will merge with his mount and will attempt to defeat us in the fashion of a powerful king riding a dragon. Lots of void-esque stars and chaotic energy will fill the arena. We have to dodge all his attacks and do mechanics around the boss to ensure we put a stop to his regal reign.
Dimensius, the All Devouring
One of the most epic fights will commence within this raid. The biggest and probably the scariest enemy we’ve faced in a raid yet. This boss is the size of Sargeras’ sword, ready to consume us in the powerful void whirls and crazy storms filled with dangerous explosions of the arcane and energy surging around us.
He will attempt to use powerful gravitational abilities and will try to make the arena bend to his own will. Feeling the whole galaxy is against us, we will have to fight our way to subdue this monstrosity of the void energy that’s not here to end this peacefully.
As we progress through the boss, he will consume and draw players within the Void Heart, and we will have to dodge worlds and falling stars to survive as we fight our way to escape this hell-hole.
In his last phase, after we break free, he will once again use his gravity abilities, surging supernovas, and destroying stars in an attempt to stop us, but we shall become victorious in the end.
