Introduction
We’re getting a new item in the 11.2 patch of The War Within, starting with Season 3, called Reshii Wraps, an artifact back item. Borrowed Power is officially back for the first time in a major patch since Shadowlands. We had some similar items, but they were usually filler items, such as the Dragonflight ring or the ring we had in patch 11.1.5. This cloak will be our core and BIS item to explore, fight, and stop the Void in the newest Season 3. Here’s all we know regarding the newest addition to our Artifact Arsenal!
All we know regarding the new cloak, Reshii Wraps, in Season 3
We know some important things regarding this brand-new, powerful item we’re getting. It’s one of the easiest pieces of gear we’ll get in the upcoming season, as it’ll be rewarded to us from one of the early quest chains, and later on, we’ll use other means to upgrade it as we progress through the newest content.
This item will provide a significant boost to all 3 roles and will be catered to each, providing bonuses that benefit the spec. Once you get it, it’ll start from base Item Level 727 and will be used for the entirety of the patch, as it’ll be required for lots of content that’s available during the patch.
Here’s all the effects for each spec, what they provide, and how your class benefits from them:
DPS
DPS will have a strong and meaningful upgrade in the AoE department. It will have an additional damage proc that happens while you fight your opponents. We still need to go through the balancing, so we've got to wait and see how often this proc of additional AoE damage will occur and how powerful it will be, not just in Mythic+, but also in Raids!
Healer
Our favorite support friends are not getting left behind; the healer will get another upgrade to their healing capabilities. They will be able to provide a shield once the target reaches full HP, meaning all classes will be able to shield, even ones that don’t use shielding as a form of support. We still have to go to balancing to see how potent these shields will be on the targets they’re provided to.
Tank
There’s no raid and mythic+ party without the beefiest boys of them all, tanks are going to get some upgrades as well with the newest Artifact cloak. Safeguard method will exist with the cloak, providing a possible saving grace in moments that can end in you dying as a tank and saving you just in time to clutch and save the group from wipe if you get too low. It will be an automatic defensive passive that will occur once you’re too low on HP.
Reshii Wraps Stats
The stats that the cloak will provide are the following:
- Stamina
- Armor
- Strength, Intellect, Agility (Depending on your Class and Spec)
You will be able to get additional bonuses and stats through Cantrips Rings Reshii back upgrades, and Reshii Cloak Fibers Sockets.
Cantrips Rings - Reshii Wraps artifact upgrades
We will be able to upgrade our cloak further through the cantrips. These items will provide an upgrade to the cloak and its overall power. A specific item that you can get is a set of boots, and each armor type will have one drop from the Soul Hunters Raid Boss within the Manaforge Omega Raid.

There will also be a ring drop from the last boss in the raid Manaforge Omega - Dimensius. The ring is called Band of the Shattered Soul and will give additional upgrades to the Artifact item. It will give Cosmic damage reduction, most likely will be useful in the raid, and in the newest content spread across the zone that we will be spending lots of time in, K’aresh.
Reshii Wraps Fibers Sockets in Season 3
There will also be 4 sockets that you can use to empower your newest armor to the fullest. Each will provide one of the secondary stats to your arsenal. You might be able to upgrade it further, but for the beginning, you will have one socket available. Here’s which ones you can pick from:

Reshii Wraps Raid Renown Upgrade
There will also be Renown that you can use to upgrade your Artifact Item further, providing a significant increase in power. Renown 6 will provide more stat boost on your Fiber Sockets, and provide a significant increase in secondary stats it gives.
Phase Diving and other uses for the Reshii Wraps in K’aresh
With the brand new content added in patch 11.2, Season 3 will start with loads of content. Our Artifact Cloak will provide help in all the activities that we’re getting in the newest patch, and not just give us power, but also we will use it to reveal some secrets and further treasures within K’aresh, Manaforge Omega Raid, Delves, and the newest dungeon, Eco-Dome Al’dani.
Phase Diving will also contain some special activities, special encounters, and world quests. It will be like a new phase within the zone where you can explore and do all sorts of activities and fight enemies that are not present within the normal version of the zone. Reshii Wraps will help you find more inside it, and first and foremost, will help you get inside this special phase within Phase Diving.
Final Thoughts
For now that’s all we got on the newest item, we need to wait further testing and some optimizations for the cloak to see how it’ll end up performing and how strong will it actually be for our characters, but so far it’s looking similar to items we’ve had recently with the patch 11.1.5 and 11.1.7 (Ring and Waist). We hope that it’ll provide a good upgrade, but also we got to wait and see how timegated will it be, as we already know that we would need couple of weeks to achieve some upgrades for the cloak, but also devs have announced that there will be some catch-up mechanics, so you will not feel too bad for missing a week or two.
