Introduction

In patch 11.1.5 in Season 2 of The War Within, we got a new activity that helps players get some catch-up gear, a brand new recolor of the fan favorite Arathi Sets, and their weapons alongside it. It is located in the Hallowfall at the North-West part of the zone, close to Veneration Grounds. It brings a bunch of new additions to the zone, including a new reputation that has a Renown track.

Let’s run through all the things you need to know regarding this scenario activity.

What’s new in Hallowfall with the Nightfall scenario added?

There is bunch of new activities for players to try, from a new World Event that rotates hourly, new Arathi reputation track and brand new repeatable quests that award catch-up gear that can help you get some additional progress on your alt or if you haven’t played in some time, get solid gear to help you journing in the Season 2 far easier. Here’s the overall rundown of the new things added:

  • Flame’s Radiance Reputation - Brand new Renown track style faction that you can earn a total of 10 Renown levels and unlock new rewards.
  • Recolored Arathi Sets - An Additional 2 new sets, that are themed around Hallowfall, are getting a new tint for players to unlock.
  • Evolving Tabard - Brand new tabard that changes while you progress.
  • Champion track gear - You can obtain a Champion Track gear from the vendor.
  • New tint for your Delver’s Dirigible - A New recolor skin is available to be obtained through this event.

The goal of the event is to stop the Sureki invasion and fight them off. You will get to do a few tasks that are usually simple, like killing enemies here, assisting certain NPCs on the other side, or carrying certain objects to a safe location. Unlike other events that have a shared bar for the progress to get troves, this one is tied to personal objectives that you’ve cleared.

Progress Bar

There’s a progress bar as mentioned, but as it’s different, you’re not dependent on the global progress, but rather how many mini-tasks/quests you complete to get it. Each tier brings a new reward, and it increases to better one as you progress the bar.

  • Tier 1 - (3 Weathered Undermine Crests, 20 Resonance Crystals, 10 Valorstones obtained on 33 % of bar.)
  • Tier 2 (5 Weathered Undermine Crests, 24 Resonance Crystals, 18 Valorstones obtained on 66 % of bar.)
  • Tier 3 (7 Weathered Undermine Crests, 36 Resonance Crystals, 27 Valorstones obtained on 100 % of bar.)

Additional Things to do that are part of the Nightfall scenario

There are also, as we mentioned previously, a few repeatable quests that you can do. These will help you with progressing the Renown track on top of getting some extra currency and a chest that will give you some catch-up Veteran gear that is pretty much very useful for alts. There’s a total of 6 that you can complete, 3 in Hallowfall and 3 in Azj’Kajet. Usually, you need to kill some mobs and progress a bar; it’s nothing too challenging if you do have some gear, but you can always find a group for it, or there might always be some players also doing these quests while you’re at it!

The trove also contains some additional Valorstones, and the Veteran Track gear you get is Warbound as well. You will get some reputation on completion of the quest, allowing you to progress the Renown. You will get 100 Reputation per completion, and this reduces on your second and all the other completions after that on alt characters to 50 Reputation.

Final Thoughts

The overall event is a good way to get some additional gear for your alts, allowing you easy access to Veteran gear, as well as giving you a bunch of new, unique, and cool-looking cosmetics (The Arathi white set is pretty good!). Hopefully, this guide will assist you in finding all the things you need regarding this brand-new event added in 11.1.5. Soon we will also be getting Horrific Visions, so the void theme will continue onto this patch in a very gloomy fashion!
