Introduction

The new patch is on the horizon with the brand new content, a zone, a raid, and a dungeon coming our way. With new reputations and even delves, with additional events and things added, we’re going to have plenty of things to explore in the Ghosts of K’aresh patch, and the newest zone, K’aresh, themed around the Void. Let’s cover everything we know regarding The War Within Season 3 Update - Ghosts of K’aresh coming in 11.2.

What’s new in Season 3 with the 11.2 update, Ghosts of K’aresh?

New Zone: K’aresh

We’re getting a new, very voidy zone to explore! Lore-wise, we don’t know much, but one thing is for certain: they want to revive Dimensius, and we need to stop them. Filled with lots of things that are covered in the void. We’re going to be able to go in Eco-Domes and restore the ecosphere, go phase diving, and return to the amazing Tazavesh, the Veiled Market, which seemingly will play some role even outside the usual dungeon thematic it is.

New Raid: Manaforge Omega

And of course, we will be getting a new raid in the Patch 11.2 that will shape the finale of The War Within. We will try to stop Dimensius from forming some unexpected alliances. If you’re looking to get more information on the raid, you can read our article regarding it here.

New Dungeon: Eco-Dome Al’dani

The aforementioned Eco-domes will also be present in the newest raid that will be added among the others in the Dungeon Pool for Mythic+ in TWW Season 2. It will be available in Normal, Heroic, Mythic0, and, of course, Mythic+.

New Delve: The Archival Assault

No content left behind, as Delves are also getting a new addition to their pool. With this brand new Delve, we will explore what this void-themed delve has to offer, meet some old foes that we know from the first raid, Nerub’ar Palace, and Princess Ky’veza. Reshii Wraps, the newest cloak, will help you uncover some secrets within the Delve. More about the cloak in the upcoming paragraphs!

Reshii Wraps: New Upgradeable Cloak (Artifact)

We’re getting something that we already had previously in some older expansions, similar to the ring and belt, also that we got during the filler patches. This cloak does wonders, will be your companion, and most likely BIS in the upcoming season. The cloak will also have special mechanics with the zones, raids, dungeons, and delves, as well as Phase Diving, a new activity awaiting us!

Phase Diving and Ecological Succession

These two new systems will enhance the gameplay experience and make everything feel a lot fresher.

  • Phase Diving: A new system, where you will be able to change the phase of the world with your Reshii Wraps, providing a new set of world quests and other challenges awaiting you within the Ka’resh
  • Ecological Succession: You will help our old friend Ve’nari bring back life in Ka’resh with her Eco-domes. You will go back to some older zones and bring life from there to our newest added zone, and bring back life to this forgotten land.

Season 3 Dungeon Mythic+ Pool:

We’re also getting some returning dungeons to the pool, together with the newest one, Eco-Dome Al’dani. We’ll be trying to get that Keystone Legend once again! The following dungeons are going to be present in the rotation:

  • Halls of Atonement
  • Tazavesh Streets of Wonder
  • Tazavesh So’leah’s Gambit
  • Ara-Kara, City of Echoes
  • The Dawnbreaker
  • Priory of the Sacred Flame
  • Operation Floodgate
  • Eco-Dome Al’dani

Tazavesh will also be featured as the Mythic0 variant and will return with the Hardmode it originally had back in the Shadowlands.

There will also be “Checkpoints” available within the dungeon, as we used to have the revive points, they will now be far more noticeable.

New Class Sets

The class sets are coming back, with a bunch of new tints and colors for each difficulty. They will also bring brand new set bonuses that will make our classes far more fun, and in most cases, stronger.

PvP and Class Updates

Both PvP and Classes will receive some changes. Classes that are going to be the main focus are the following: Unholy Death Knight, Frost Death Knight, Shadow Priest, and Brewmaster Monk, including some tuning for all the other classes as well

As for the PvP Changes, we will be receiving some PvP Talent updates, but the most prominent PvP Feature of the patch is the special island, Vanquisher’s Wake Isle. You will be able to get a World Quest there and dive into some PvP action. Just turn on the Warmode and you’re ready to dive into the action!

Final Thoughts

That’s all we got for the new patch overview. We’re ready to prepare The War Within Season 3 - Ghosts of K’aresh Guide once we get some PTR testing and make sure that all is ready to be made into one. There will probably be upcoming information regarding the newest patch in the next days, so stay tuned and make sure to check it whenever you get a chance. We will be closely following and preparing everything to dive into 11.2 as efficiently as we can!
