Introduction
It’s been some time since Season 2 launched, and 11.1.5 brought some refreshing changes and additions. Another part of the update will come on May 13, which will provide us with some catch-up mechanics, change a few things around to make it as smooth as possible, and fix the things that they feel are needed.
What will change in Season 2 of The War Within?
There are quite a few new additions to Season 2, not a major change, but they feel like a helpful little thing, to assist you in getting things you might be missing in this season.
Weekly Quest
There will be a new Weekly Quest available for players to complete. You will need to kill 4 bosses from the Raid Liberation of Undermine. This will grant you 3 Puzzling Cartel Dinars in the first week and then later on 1 each week. You can do it once per character. You can earn up to 9 Puzzling Cartel Chips this way.
Raid Gear Vendor
There will be a vendor located near the Great Vault at Dornogal that goes by the name Consultant Wrexxle. This vendor will sell various Raid items that you can claim with Puzzling Cartel Chips. You can finally get your BIS Myth Track Trinkets. The requirement to claim a specific item on Myth track will require you to kill a designated boss that drops the item you're looking to purchase on Mythic difficulty.
Hero Track items will have no additional requirements and will be available for all players to purchase instantly. On top of everything regarding the vendor, these items will have two more upgrades on both Hero Track (Max. 671 Item Level) and Myth Track (Max. 684 Item Level). This will also apply to all items that you can obtain, so the cap has been raised to 8 tiers for both Hero and Myth Tracks.
Delves Updates
There will also be some additional tunings regarding Delves, mainly increasing the Exp gains from Brann, so you can level him faster in case he’s still not maxed, as it can take some time. This will also apply to the Delver’s Journey, as well as increasing the rewards and improving the Delver’s Bounty.
On top of everything mentioned above, you will also get additional progress for your Delver’s Journey from Bountiful Coffers, Hidden Troves, Nemesis Strongboxes, and end-of-run grants. You’ll earn more Crests, Valorstones, and there will be an increase in repeatable, earnable Crests across Delve tiers.
Profession Updates
Professions will also get some tuning to be more relevant to Season 2. Recipes that were crafted with the Spark of Fortune can be upgraded and recrafted at the Augmentation Matrix. Their Item Level cap is increased by 6 Item Levels. These Augmentation Matrices can be obtained from Enchanting Vendors Llande and Syenite, located in Dornogal.
Final Thoughts
This concludes this small run-up to what is coming in the May 13 update regarding the Season 2 update.
