Armor 3.0 & Masterworking Changes

• All Armor 3.0 drops now come with full Energy—no need to Masterwork first for mod space 

• Masterworking no longer boosts all stats—it enhances your armor’s lowest three stats by +1 per Masterwork level, up to +5 per stat (+15 total) 
   

Gear Tiers & Bonuses

Armor is ranked from Tier 1 to Tier 5, with each tier granting better stats and added perks:

• Mod Energy Cap: Tier 4 and 5 armor pieces provide 11 energy (higher than lower tiers).

• Tuned Stat Slot (Tier 5 only): Allows you to either:

  1. Transfer 5 points from other stats into this slot, or

  2. Use Balanced Tuning to boost the three lowest stats by +1 
      

Exotic Armor Upgrades

• All existing Exotic armor will be converted into Armor 3.0 with full energy, using the Tier 2 stat range (total 58–63 stats). New Exotic drops will follow the new system immediately 

• You get 20 free focused Exotic armor rerolls via Ada-1 over the Year of Prophecy, allowing you to choose an archetype for class items etc. 

Armor Archetypes – Targeted Stats Made Easy
Each armor piece now has a stat Archetype — a predefined combo of two high stats, with the third highest stat being randomly chosen.
 

Available Archetypes:

• This makes farming armor for specific builds way easier.
• Ghost Mods (like Armorer) will let you influence which archetype you get on drops.
• Exotic armor will also roll with archetypes.
   

Armor Set Bonuses – New Build Synergies
Wearing 2 or 4 pieces of a matching armor set now grants powerful passive bonuses.

Example Sets & Their Bonuses:
Aion Renewal Set

• 2 pieces → Force Converter: Grenade or rocket launcher kills grant Speed Booster when sprinting.
• 4 pieces → Reactive Booster: While sprinting with low health or while slowed/suspended (Stasis/Strand), you automatically trigger Speed Booster.

Tecsec Set

• 2 pieces → Wrecker: Your Kinetic damage is increased vs. enemies with overshields or elemental shields.
• 4 pieces → Concussive Rounds: Breaking enemy shields or killing strong foes with Kinetic damage creates a shockwave that disorients nearby enemies.

Key Notes:

• Bonuses stack by set count (2 vs. 4 pieces).
• You can mix and match sets if you want only the 2-piece effect.
• These sets work in both PvE and PvP, depending on your build.

Why This Matters

• Archetypes let you farm armor that aligns with your build goals (e.g., melee-focused, grenade-spamming, etc.).
• Set bonuses reward consistent gear theming and add exciting buildcrafting depth.
• These features make high-tier armor more strategic and rewarding to collect and use.

Sherpa is the only way to be completely safe with these services.

In light of Bungie's Tweet in March 2023, Recoveries can be targeted and banned. If you still want to proceed with a Recovery service, we will use a VPN to protect you as much as possible, as we will connect to your country.

However, this is never going to be a bulletproof protection. Sherpa is heavily recommended, as you can learn, have fun, and save a lot of time by playing with great pros.
