Originally introduced during the Season of the Witch, the Weekly Exotic Mission rotation system is here to stay in the Final Shape, meaning you'll have plenty of chances to get your hands on some classic exotics from seasons past! What is a Destiny 2 Weekly Exotic Mission?
Weekly Exotic Missions are a new type of activity introduced during the Season of the Witch, wherein various 'vaulted' exotic missions temporarily become available again on a weekly rotation, giving our Guardians a chance to snag some of their rewards.
Completing a Weekly Exotic Mission for the first time guarantees you with one drop of its associated Exotic Weapon, as well as its Crafting Pattern. If done on Legend, you can also get said weapon's Catalyst.
Which DLCs do I need to play a Destiny 2 Weekly Exotic Mission?
To be able to do any of the aforementioned Destiny 2 Weekly Exotic Missions, you'll need:
- The Beyond Light DLC
- The Witch Queen DLC
- The Final Shape DLC
- And at least 1900+ Power Level to run each mission on Normal, and 1915+ to do them on Legend.
Which Exotic Missions are incuded in the rotation?
As of the release of The Final Shape, there are currently three Destiny 2 Weekly Exotic Missions in rotation, those being:
- Presage; which rewards you with the Dead Man's Tale
- Vox Obscura; which rewards you with the Dead Messenger
- Operation: Seraph's Shield; which rewards you with Revision Zero
