WEEKLY EXOTIC MISSIONS - WHAT ARE THEY EXACTLY?
Weekly Exotic Missions are a new type of activity, which was introduced in Season 22 of Destiny 2. Launching the activity would launch one of three, previously "sunset" exotic missions, the mission which will be available at the time would depend on the rotation of the missions themselves.
Completing a Weekly Exotic Mission for the first time would give you the Exotic associated with that particular mission and its pattern for Crafting. Subsequent completions of the same mission would grant additional progress towards unlocking new perks and enhanced perks for weapon crafting. Additionally, you can complete the missions on a higher difficulty which would in turn provide you with the Exotic Catalysts for the associated weapons, and additional progress towards weapon frame and additional catalyst (if the weapon has them)
With the Weekly Exotic Missions you'll get to re-experince some of Destiny 2's most loved missions, which also provided significant challenge to even the most experienced Destiny 2 players.
LIST OF MISSIONS AND WEAPONS YOU CAN OBTAIN
There are currently three missions in the Weekly Exotic Mission rotator They are:
Presage (Available in both Normal and Legend), from which you can get the unlock and the pattern for Dead Man's Tale.
Vox Obscura (Available in both Normal and Legend), from which you can get the unlock and the pattern for Dead Messenger, which was unobtainable after the launch of Lightfall.
Operation: Seraph's Shield (Available in both Normal and Legend), from which you can get the unlock and the pattern for Revision Zero, which was unobtainable after the launch of Lightfall.
